Boycott these scabvertisers!

These advertisers (scabvertisers, we like to call them) are among the businesses and organizations dragging out this strike by advertising in The Chronicle Herald and its products and supporting inferior journalism and the current anti-worker, union-busting management policy at Nova Scotia's daily newspaper of record.

Please join the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour's boycott of the following companies and organizations in your communities - and tell them why.

We’ve included contact info to make it easier to explain to advertisers why you are taking your business elsewhere until this strike is fairly settled and the Herald's experienced, professional newsroom and support staff are back on the job.

Atlantic Superstore (1-800-296-2332) and Sobeys (902-752-8371): If possible, please give your grocery business to local markets, farmers' markets, small food stores, Costco, Wholesale Club at 7111 Chebucto Rd. in Halifax and stores like Dave's Fruits and Vegetables, 322 Main St., and Gateway Meats, 667 Main St., both in Dartmouth. If you can't boycott the big grocers, please ask the store manager to stop advertising in the Herald's flyer packs.
