CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #41

Bargaining resumed this morning and resulted in tentative agreements being reached on Appendix A4 (Regional Joint Benefits Forum), Appendix A1 (Motor Vehicle Usage Program), Appendix A34 (Payment in Lieu of Vacation) and a letter regarding treatment of health care taxes.

This afternoon AT&T presented a comprehensive package proposal to the Union Committee. We are currently reviewing the proposal. But it is apparent, with a quick glance, that this comprehensive package is not at all adequate to meet the needs of CWA members in the Midwest.

We are going to begin working on the response to the Company’s offer. They are going to hear our response very soon…We hope they hear yours in the workplace as well!
