CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #52

Today, the Union, once again proposed improvements to enhance members’ employment security. There were proposals exchanged covering; Article 26 (Training and Employment Security), Appendix A19 (Employment Security), Appendix A20 (Extended Employment Opportunity Period) and Appendix A30 (Additional Displacement Opportunity).

This evening, tentative agreements were reached on Article 27 (Operator Services), Appendix A32 (National Transfer Plan), Appendix D4 (Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit) and letters regarding the Operator Services Technical Associate and Single Bargaining Unit.

Some progress was made again today on some issues; we are still trying to move the Company our way on the major issues.

Hopefully tomorrow will be an exciting day here in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
