CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #64

After reviewing the so called final offer that the company presented the Union earlier this week, one thing is certain; this offer does not meet the needs of CWA members in the Midwest.

Your bargaining committee has made additional information requests to the company to further understand some aspects of their last offer. The Company has provided some of that information as of this morning, but we are still waiting for a substantial portion of the requested information so that we can fully understand their proposals and offer counter proposals in an effort to reach an agreement.

The committee is continuing to discuss and evaluate all articles that are still not agreed upon. We plan to continue this work as we wait for AT&T to provide the additional information we have requested. Once that happens, our work to provide the company with a response to their last offer will commence. Hopefully that will start later today or Sunday morning.

As we begin Memorial Day weekend, we also wanted to take some time to remember those who gave their lives in service and defense of our country.
