About Us

Welcome to the Western New York Council of the CWA. The council coordinates the efforts of the CWA locals and retiree chapters in WNY.

One of the most important items that the Council works on is the Eugene J. Mays Scholarship. For over thirty years the council has given out the scholarship to children of members so they can attend college and have a better future. The Council also gives out two awards every year, we select winners of the E.J. Mays Citizenship Award and the E.J. Mays Memorial Award. Please click on the tabs to find out more about these programs.
