Bargaining Report #2
The Union and Company met yesterday, March 3, 2020. The Union presented UP15 through 19. The Union bargaining committee met the rest of day to review the Company proposals.
The Union and Company met today, March 4, 2020, to discuss the Company’s 23 proposals and answer questions from the Company about the Unions 19 proposals. The Union made several information request (RFI) based on the Company proposals.
The UNION REJECTED THE FOLLOWING Company proposals; CP4, Article 7, Holidays, delete two times straight pay for all hours worked in excess of the normally scheduled hours for the work day on a holiday. CP5, Article 8, Union Leave. CP7, Article 10, Contracting, contracted in the impacted exchange. CP12, Article 22, Payroll Deduction of Union Dues.
The Company rejected the following Union proposals; UP3, Article 10, Contracting. UP9, Article 26, Overtime and Sunday. UP10, Article 26, Overtime and Sunday. UP14, Needs of the Business. UP18, Successorship.
We are scheduled to meet with the Company tomorrow, Thursday, March 5, 2020.
The contract expires on March 14, 2020.
