CWA Workers are the Frontline During the COVID-19 Crisis

CWA workers are keeping things running every day.  We are the frontline in times of crisis.  Whenever things are at their worst like the current pandemic, after damaging storms, or any other disaster you will find us doing what it takes to ensure people have access to telecommunications, healthcare, housing, education, transportation, and more.  If you are one of our members facing the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, please submit a short statement using our webform (found here).  These statements will be sent to Senator Sherrod Brown who is working on legislation that would create hazard pay for essential frontline workers. 

With so much talk about what "essential" means, it is important that we continue to do our work. We do it safely, we take pride in it, and we do it better than anyone else.  We are essential, not only to our employers, but to each other, to our families, neighbors, and friends, and to everyone else that relies on our services.
